Jolanta and Marek Kudla were born and raised near Krakow, Poland; they
emigrated to the United States in the early 1980's, married, and had three
children.  In 2001, they created Forgotten Taste Pierogies by rolling,
stuffing and boiling the first pierogies (potato and cheese, of course) in
the small kitchen in their home — their three kids serving as "assistant
cooks."  The business has since expanded to three locations, thirteen
kinds of pierogies and a variety of Eastern European foods, including
stuffed cabbages and peppers, halushki and kielbasa!

The owners pride themselves on making the same delicious, homemade foods
that they shared with their families in Poland.  The business is still run
and owned 100% by the couple but occasionally, their three "assistant
cooks" help out, too.
